There are 4 Vinfast VF9 convertibles used as honor guard vehicles, 12 white VF9 cars reserved for the Traffic Police force at the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.

On the morning of August 30, the grand rehearsal of the military parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) took place solemnly and majestically at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi. VinFast is honored and proud to contribute to this important event by providing a special fleet of VF9 vehicles.

Among them, the VF9 convertible was used as a guard vehicle, along with 12 white VF9 cars manufactured exclusively for the Traffic Police force. This is the result of the tireless efforts of the VinFast engineering team, with meticulous work, adhering to security and safety standards to serve the ceremony.

In addition to the 6 VF9 convertibles previously delivered to the Ministry of National Defense, VinFast has urgently mobilized a team of highly qualified engineers and technicians to complete 4 more VF9 convertibles at the request of the Ministry of Public Security , to serve the parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, 2025.

The Traffic Police force's 12 white Vinfast VF9 electric SUVs were designed according to the specific requirements of the Traffic Police force.

The Vinfast VF9 car, specially designed for the Traffic Police, uses a modified hood, removes air vents, adds a slat-shaped radiator grille, and adds equipment according to the standards of the Ministry of Public Security such as badges, flagpoles, lights, horns, etc.

It is known that VinFast engineers need about 60 to 80 hours to complete the items according to the standards set by the Ministry of Public Security on each Vinfast VF9 electric SUV for the Traffic Police force.

Regarding the VF9 convertible used as a military honor vehicle, according to the manufacturer VInfast, the structure of the vehicle has been completely removed from the B, C, D pillars and the connection between the roof and the A pillar. The details are then finished on the surface, ensuring precise assembly and increasing aesthetics.

The entire interior has been stripped down to new leather upholstery. The exterior has also been repainted. The front grille design has been replaced with a special chrome material. The electrical system on the car has been reworked compared to the standard car.

Because the roof was removed, the entire electrical system was reinforced with water resistance. Unnecessary features were removed to suit the purpose of using the car for the 80th anniversary of the national day.

The software is also specifically designed and tested multiple times to ensure compatibility with the vehicle. After completion, the VinFast VF 9 convertible has a ground clearance increased by 20mm to meet usage needs.

The total time to make the 4 cars is nearly 2,400 working hours. During the process of making the special VF9 convertibles, all implementation details were discussed and agreed upon by VinFast with relevant agencies, and were strictly monitored to ensure maximum security and safety.

The presence of VinFast at the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd is one of the strong symbols of modern and developed Vietnam, affirming the ability to master high-tech industrial products and Vietnamese intelligence in the new era.

The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will begin from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
