Late on the evening of August 31, many cultural houses and residential groups in Hai Phong City were still lit up. The streets in the villages were also busier than usual as people happily went to receive Independence Day gifts from the State.
To ensure the gifts reach people before National Day September 2nd, ensuring the most meaningful and practical gifts, cadres, civil servants, officials, party cell secretaries, village chiefs, and residential group leaders in Hai Phong worked tirelessly and urgently day and night despite the holiday.

At 10 p.m. in Tu Minh Ward (Hai Phong City), the atmosphere of distributing National Day gift money was still bustling and exciting. The distribution points were still crowded with people coming to complete procedures to receive money. At each point, Tu Minh Ward arranged a team leader, deputy team leader and members, including leaders, cadres, civil servants, ward officials and police forces, head of residential group, party cell secretary... All made great efforts so that people could receive gifts as quickly as possible.

In Ngo Quyen ward, the working group of the ward People's Committee also paid out gifts from the State on the occasion of National Day, September 2, to the people in the evening.
In Long Trang village, Gia Phuc commune, people flocked to the village cultural house to declare information and receive gifts of 100,000 VND/person. The large number of people coming made it take a long time to wait, but everyone was happy and excited.
Previously, on the morning of August 31, many communes and wards in Hai Phong city began distributing gifts to people as soon as they completed the procedures. Of which, 7 communes in the old Vinh Bao district simultaneously distributed gifts to people from the morning of August 31.
Comrade Dinh Phu Hieu, Chairman of Vinh Thuan Commune People's Committee, said that immediately after receiving money from the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Vinh Bao branch, to the locality at 10:30 a.m., the Commune People's Committee directed the working groups to promptly pay to local people from noon until 10:00 p.m. the same day.
On the afternoon of August 31, in Vinh Am commune, 41 villages also simultaneously distributed Independence Day gifts to the people. Mr. Bui Gia Huan, Party Secretary and Chairman of Vinh Am Commune People's Council, said: "Immediately after the meeting to inspect, review, and make a list of individuals and families receiving gifts, the Commune People's Committee assigned the sectors and localities to immediately organize the distribution of State gifts to local people, striving to basically complete this work by 2:00 p.m. on September 1 at the latest."
A meaningful gift when it comes at the right time

Thanks to the efforts of the local government, the special Independence Day gift was delivered to many people in Hai Phong City at the right meaningful moment.
Ms. La Thi Tre in An Bo village, Vinh Thuan commune happily shared: "I am very happy to receive a gift from the Party, State and Government for the first time on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The gift shows the deep concern of the Party and State for the people and is proof of positive changes, people's lives are increasingly prosperous and happy".

Arriving at Quoc Tuan Cultural House very early to receive the money, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Teo, in Kieu Ha residential group, An Duong ward, was excited when her whole family received 100,000 VND/person on the occasion of National Day. Mrs. Teo plans to use this money on September 2 to organize a party when her children and grandchildren return to their hometown.
Mr. Luu Trieu Phu in Hoa Binh residential group, An Hai ward, after receiving the notice to receive gifts, excitedly shared the information with members of the Hoa Binh Residential Group Zalo group.
"My family and the people of Hoa Binh residential group are very grateful for the attention of the Party and State in giving gifts on the occasion of National Day September 2 and the efforts of the local government to promptly deliver these gifts to the people. Although busy, I and everyone in the neighborhood are very excited to receive the gifts and plan to organize a party on the occasion of Independence Day," Mr. Phu excitedly shared.

This is also the joyful and excited mood of people throughout Hai Phong city on this occasion. In some localities and for those who are sick or have difficulty moving, communes and wards send people to deliver gifts to their homes.
Thanks to good propaganda work and efforts to promptly implement the distribution of State gifts to the people, some localities have basically completed and ensured that the gifts will reach the people before National Day, September 2.
