Hanoi athletes receive a rain of bonuses after SEA Games 32

At the 32nd SEA Games, Hanoi athletes contributed significantly to the success of the Vietnamese sports delegation, winning about 30% of the total medals won by the entire delegation.

Specifically, the Vietnamese sports delegation won 136 gold medals, 105 silver medals and 118 bronze medals. Of which, Hanoi athletes contributed 40 gold medals, 27 silver medals, and 32 bronze medals. In the sports included in the ASIAD and Olympic programs such as wrestling, rowing, fencing, gymnastics, weightlifting, wushu, taekwondo, etc., Hanoi athletes competed relatively successfully.

Tran Mai Ngoc and Dinh Anh Hoang excellently won gold medals in table tennis

Standing out among the Hanoi athletes who won gold medals is Dinh Phuong Thanh (gymnastics) with his resounding victory in 5 consecutive SEA Games. Wushu "jade girl" Duong Thuy Vi also competed successfully in the women's sword and spear events. Or in boxing, female boxer Ha Thi Linh (63 kg class) of Hanoi excellently won the gold medal.

In table tennis, the pair of athletes Dinh Anh Hoang and Tran Mai Ngoc won the gold medal in the mixed doubles event when they defeated their Singaporean opponents in the final. This was also a historic victory for Vietnamese table tennis, when they defeated a table tennis powerhouse like Singapore to win the championship.

With their good performance at the 32nd SEA Games, Hanoi athletes received worthy rewards. Specifically, each athlete who won a gold medal will receive a bonus of 55 million VND, the athlete who won a silver medal will receive a bonus of 30 million VND and the bonus for each bronze medal is 25 million VND. For coaches whose athletes won medals, the bonus is 50% of the bonus for the athletes.

Thus, the total bonus for Hanoi athletes is expected to be 3.81 billion VND, not including bonuses from socialized sources or sponsors.
