Industrial clusters create jobs for nearly 8,000 workers.

Thanks to the drastic and synchronous participation of all levels and sectors, up to now, the whole province has established and assigned investors to build technical infrastructure for 16/47 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​over 490 hectares. The industrial clusters have attracted nearly 700 production and business establishments, contributing to gradually overcoming the environmental pollution in craft villages and concentrated production areas, while creating jobs for nearly 8,000 workers.

Currently, 4/16 industrial clusters have achieved a 100% occupancy rate, including: Yen Dong Craft Village Industrial Cluster, Te Lo Craft Village Industrial Cluster, Yen Lac Town Industrial Cluster and Hung Vuong - Phuc Thang Industrial Cluster.

Since the provincial planning was approved by the Prime Minister , 25 investors have expressed interest in and proposed to be technical infrastructure investors for 18 industrial clusters. Of these, 2 investors proposed for 2 established industrial clusters, while the remaining 23 investors are interested in 16 industrial clusters under new development plans.

According to the approved plan, by 2030, the province is expected to form 47 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​over 1,737 hectares, including 31 newly developed industrial clusters with an area of ​​nearly 1,247 hectares. However, through preliminary review and assessment, only 10/31 new industrial clusters basically meet the conditions for consideration for establishment; the remaining 21 clusters do not meet the necessary conditions according to regulations.
