Ninh Kieu District Women's Union at all levels has grown to over 13,800 members.

(CT) - On June 6, the Standing Committee of the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union held a conference to review the work of the Union and women's movement in the first 6 months of 2025; summarize and award the contest "Design and display of recycled plastic products" in response to the Month of Action for the Environment and World Environment Day 2025.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Women's Union at all levels in Ninh Kieu district proactively followed the leadership and direction of the Party Committees and the Union at higher levels, proposed creative solutions and methods to effectively implement emulation movements, campaigns, and key tasks of the Union in conjunction with the task of socio -economic development of the locality. Notably, the Union at all levels developed 13,890 members, bringing the total number of members in the district to 49,066 people; mobilized support to build a new Charity House for members in difficult circumstances, worth 60 million VND; introduced jobs to 193 women. In addition, the Union continued to maintain social security care models, thereby giving 6,450 meals, 125 gifts with a total value of over 70 million VND...

The contest “Design and display of recycled plastic products” organized by the Ninh Kieu District Women’s Union in collaboration with the District Department of Natural Resources and Environment, with the theme “Join hands to reduce plastic waste - spread green lifestyle”, attracted 8 teams from the ward Women’s Unions, with more than 20 products. As a result, the first prize went to the An Khanh Ward Women’s Union team.
