Ms. Tran Thi Kieu Yen, President of the Women's Union of Ca Mau province, said that in recent times, the Women's Union of the province has closely coordinated with the Naval Region 5 Command to effectively carry out propaganda work on seas and islands; mobilizing members to actively participate in protecting the sacred sovereignty of the seas and islands of the Fatherland.
Activities are widely organized in the province with many diverse and creative forms, both raising awareness and arousing the sense of responsibility among cadres, women's union members and people. Programs towards the sea and islands have become a bright spot in mass mobilization work in the locality.
In addition to propaganda work, the Women's Union of Ca Mau province also coordinated with the Naval Region 5 Command, units, businesses and benefactors to organize many social security activities such as visiting and giving gifts to officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances, supporting poor households, policy families and people with meritorious services in the area.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Kieu Yen, these practical actions have contributed to strengthening the military-civilian relationship, consolidating the "people's hearts and minds" position, and at the same time spreading the spirit of solidarity, loyalty, and responsibility in the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland's seas and islands.
