The Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) and the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) have just surveyed the stadiums that Indonesia will use to host the 2024 Southeast Asian U16 and U19 tournaments. AFF representatives are very satisfied with the preparations of the archipelago country for the important youth tournaments this year.

Ronny John Suhatril, PSSI's Director of Tournament Organization, affirmed that the organization and facilities of the 2024 Southeast Asian U16 and U19 tournaments will not be much different from the 2023 U17 World Cup that Indonesia hosted last year.

Mr. Ronny John Suhatril also confirmed that all 12 AFF member federations (including Australia) have registered to participate in the 2024 Southeast Asian U16 and U19.

The 2024 Southeast Asian U16 Championship is scheduled to take place from June 21 to July 4 this year in Surakarta City with two stadiums being used, Manahan and Sriwedari. Meanwhile, the 2024 Southeast Asian U19 Championship will take place from July 17 to July 29 at two stadiums, Gelora Bung Tomo and 10/11 Stadium.

Of the above stadiums, Manahan and Gelora Bung Tomo were the venues where most of the matches of the 2023 U17 World Cup took place last November.
