Recently, the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Department organized 5 ethnic knowledge training courses for nearly 350 trainees who are cadres, civil servants, and public employees directly advising and monitoring ethnic work at the provincial, district, and commune levels, and Party cell secretaries and heads of residential areas in ethnic minority areas.

This is group 4, under sub-project 2, project 5 of the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030; phase 1 from 2021-2025.
Trainees were introduced to 6 topics, including: Overview of ethnic minorities in Vietnam; Viewpoints, policies and guidelines of the Party on ethnic issues and ethnic affairs; Laws and policies of the State on socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas; Building a strong grassroots political system in ethnic minority areas; State management of ethnic minority culture; National defense and security in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. The training course also organized seminars and discussions on ethnic issues, ethnic affairs, and results of implementing ethnic policies of the sector or locality. Thereby, to improve and update knowledge of ethnic groups and ethnic minority culture, improve professional qualifications for cadres, civil servants and public employees working in ethnic affairs, contribute to and effectively implement propaganda and mobilization work for ethnic minorities to develop socio-economy according to the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's laws, and strengthen the great national unity bloc.
At the end of the training course, 100% of students wrote a report according to the training program.
