The working group directly approached and disseminated information to fishermen on three fishing vessels with registration numbers QB-93346-TS, QNg-97179-TS and KG-92846-TS, with a total of more than 30 crew members. The dissemination content focused on the 2017 Fisheries Law, the Vietnam Coast Guard Law, mandatory regulations on logging, installing voyage monitoring equipment, not encroaching on foreign waters and the responsibility to protect aquatic resources. Thereby, contributing to raising fishermen's awareness and responsibility in complying with the law, accompanying the efforts of the entire industry to soon remove the IUU "yellow card" applied by the European Commission (EC).

In addition to propaganda work, officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Ship 3006 also presented fishermen with dozens of national flags to hang on the ship, contributing to spreading patriotism, arousing national pride and a sense of responsibility in preserving the sovereignty of the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland. The working group also supported some essential necessities, SmartA antiseptic saline solution to help fishermen take care of their health and prevent skin diseases during long working days at sea.

Through IUU propaganda activities, presenting national flags and supporting medical supplies, we hope to contribute to raising awareness of law compliance, helping people feel secure in going out to sea, fishing legally, safely and effectively”.

The practical activities of Coast Guard Ship 3006 have contributed to building a close and close relationship between the Vietnam Coast Guard and fishermen, consolidating the "people's hearts" at sea, joining hands to firmly protect sovereignty, security, order and safety in the seas and islands of the Fatherland.
