Reporting to the delegation, Vice Chairman of Tan Son Nhat Ward People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Danh said that recently, the ward has focused on arranging and allocating facilities and personnel, and at the same time implementing many solutions to ensure the apparatus operates effectively.
At the Public Administration Service Center, the ward has arranged staff to directly support and coordinate with units such as the police, social insurance, and tax to handle procedures for people and businesses. At the same time, mobilize 4-6 union members and youths every day to participate in supporting the implementation of administrative procedures and public services.
From July 1 to July 19, the Ward People's Committee recorded more than 1,555 cases of contact to perform the functions and tasks of the Ward People's Committee; of which 261 online records were received.
The leaders of Tan Son Nhat Ward said that the regulations and instructions for the appointment and arrangement of accountants in the ward and specialized departments are not yet consistent, so the arrangement of accounting personnel in the ward is difficult. However, if choosing the option of arranging accounting personnel according to each specialized department, it is necessary to consider the staffing and expertise to meet the requirements for performing accounting work according to regulations.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong acknowledged and commended the positive results of Tan Son Nhat Ward; at the same time, he hoped that the locality would continue to perfect the model of local government at the commune level towards being close to the people, effectively solving the legitimate problems of the people.
He also suggested many important contents such as: promoting the supervisory role of the People's Council, arranging and promoting the effectiveness of non-professional staff, promoting digital transformation, and applying information technology in the process of performing tasks.
The Vice Chairman of the HCMC People's Council emphasized that increasing the rate of online file processing is a matter of special concern to the Central Government and the City. People in Tan Son Nhat Ward have initially accessed and used online public services, but the rate is still low. Therefore, the ward needs to step up propaganda, guidance and mobilize volunteers to support to improve the efficiency of use in the community.
Comrade Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong requested relevant departments and branches to soon study and find solutions to remove difficulties for the locality and organize specialized training sessions to support the ward.
