On the morning of August 2, 2025, following the direction of the Ministry of National Defense , a transport aircraft of the 918th Air Brigade (Air Defense - Air Force) took off from Gia Lam airport at 7:15 a.m., carrying 2 tons of relief goods including dry food and instant noodles, heading to Dien Bien province - which is suffering heavy damage due to heavy rains and flash floods.

The Ministry of Defense mobilized helicopters to transport relief goods to Dien Bien province.

The flight was chaired by the Department of Rescue and Relief (Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee), in coordination with relevant agencies.
