On the morning of July 31, while helping Nguyen Thi Lan’s family in Block 5, Muong Xen Commune, Nghe An Province, clean up the mud in their house, Private First Class Nguyen Dinh Khoa picked up a gold necklace buried deep under the mud. He immediately reported the incident to the officer in charge to verify and return it to the owner.

Private Nguyen Dinh Khoa recounted: "While using a shovel to scoop up the mud in the house, I discovered a necklace. But because the mud was so thick, I didn't know what kind of necklace it was. I called my teammates to pick it up and report to the commander. After washing off the mud, I saw that the necklace was yellow, guessing it was the owner's necklace, so I quickly called Ms. Lan to report it."

Return the gold necklace to its owner in front of his teammates.

Everyone congratulated Ms. Lan and Private Nguyen Dinh Khoa.

Ms. Lan received the gold necklace back.

After checking and verifying the information, Ms. Lan determined that this was a necklace that her daughters pooled money to buy for their mother on her birthday.

The actions of Private Nguyen Dinh Khoa are a clear demonstration of the pure moral qualities of a revolutionary soldier; a shining example of honesty and loyalty; especially at a time when the whole unit is making efforts to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
