In one day, nearly 100 officers of the Ha Giang Border Guard units were taught by lecturers who are leading experts from the Chemical Corps; Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee on a number of topics such as: Overview of CBRN agents (including: Chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear), related materials and goods. International regulations, Vietnamese regulations on controlling goods containing CBRN agents. Risk of illegal transportation of toxic chemicals across border routes. Reconnaissance skills, detection of chemical and toxic agents and initial treatment plans...
In addition to theoretical content, students are also trained in practice, rehearsing hypothetical situations, using reconnaissance equipment, quickly detecting and handling initial scenes.

Through the training course, trainees are equipped with in-depth knowledge and practical skills, updated on reconnaissance, identification, use of rapid detection equipment and interdisciplinary coordination in emergency CBRN situations.
This is the foundation to help each officer and soldier of Ha Giang Border Guard become a "divine eye" to maintain national sovereignty and community safety in the new situation.
