The Ministry of Public Security supports the three provinces of Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, and Lam Dong to build and repair 6,370 houses for poor and near-poor households.

On July 30, in Gia Lai, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with Gia Lai Provincial Police to organize a conference to summarize the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses of the Ministry of Public Security in the provinces of Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, and Lam Dong.

According to Major General Le Quang Nhan, Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police, in response to the Program to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide launched by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Security has supported the three provinces of Gia Lai , Quang Ngai, and Lam Dong with a total budget of 355 billion VND to build, renovate, and repair 6,370 houses for poor and near-poor households with the goal of contributing to stabilizing and improving the material and spiritual life of the people, especially ethnic minority areas.

The police forces of the three provinces have proactively and actively advised, coordinated and directly supported, mobilized contributions of funds, working days, and shared meals, accommodation and work with the people to complete each house on schedule, as required, and ensuring quality. Up to now, the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses from the funds mobilized by the Ministry of Public Security for the three provinces has been completed and 1 month ahead of schedule compared to the requirements.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, congratulated the households who received houses from the funds contributed and mobilized by the Ministry of Public Security. Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung believes that with new, stable and solid housing, the households will feel secure in working and producing; continue to promote the spirit of national solidarity; actively participate in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level and building a solid security posture, contributing to the successful implementation of the policies and strategies of the Party and State.
