Binh Thuan surveys agricultural tourism tours in Dong Nai

Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Information Center has just participated in a survey of “agricultural tourism” tours and “fruit garden” experience products in Dong Nai. The survey team also included representatives of the tourism industry of localities with garden tourism models and travel businesses in the province.

With the aim of introducing and promoting Dong Nai tourism as well as enhancing cooperation and connecting tours between Dong Nai and the provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau , Lam Dong and Binh Thuan, the survey program for the tourism industry of the provinces and cities in the region aims at the product "Agricultural tourism - Experience fruit gardens" including sightseeing spots in Long Khanh city such as: Sau Hung fruit garden, Ut Tieu mangosteen garden, Loc La rambutan garden... Besides visiting the fruit gardens in the ripening season, the tour group is also invited to experience picking and enjoying fruits in the garden, listening to the introduction of famous fruits, ancient fruit trees that are decades old...

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Dong Nai Tourism Association also organized a seminar on developing Dong Nai tourism into an important economic sector with the theme "Agricultural - rural tourism in Long Khanh city". At the seminar, the Dong Nai tourism industry and representatives of Long Khanh gardeners heard many comments on the "garden tourism" model from travel companies, media units, and state tourism management agencies of provinces and cities in the region. The comments and solutions for developing the agricultural tourism model for Dong Nai are also very useful comments for this model in localities with development potential such as Long An, Binh Phuoc , Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, etc.

Along with visiting, surveying and discussing tourism products in Long Khanh city, the delegation was also invited by the Organizing Committee to attend the Opening Ceremony of the "Long Khanh Flavor" Food Festival in 2023 and famous tourist attractions in Bien Hoa city such as: Ong Pagoda - Cu Lao Pho, Nguyen Huu Canh Temple, Dai Giac Pagoda, Buu Long Tourist Area, Tran Bien Assembly Hall... and especially enjoy the cuisine of the "fruit" region of Dong Nai with delicious dishes made from mangosteen, rambutan, grapefruit, durian...
