According to the Daily Mail, Mayor Karen Bass has declared a curfew in downtown Los Angeles to end the violent protests that have lasted for days.
From 8pm on June 10 to 6am on June 11 (local time), many areas in Los Angeles will be strictly locked down as police attempt to regain control and end widespread violence and vandalism in the city.

Mayor Bass announced the new order after a tense meeting with the police chief and top officials to consider whether a curfew could play a role in helping to defuse the tense situation.
Mayor Bass added that the curfew is expected to last for several days and will apply within a one-square-mile area around the "epicenter" of violent protests in downtown Los Angeles.

Any protesters violating the curfew and remaining in the area after 8pm will be arrested.
Over the past five days, many radical protesters have clashed with law enforcement forces, protesting the city government's crackdown on illegal immigrants. They became even angrier when US President Donald Trump ordered the mobilization of 700 Marines and 4,100 National Guard troops to respond to the protests and support the Los Angeles Police Department.
