Bich Tuyen believes that the new FIVB regulations lack fairness and transparency.

In her message to fans, Bich Tuyen expressed her deep gratitude for always being there, cheering her on, and recalled the historic victory of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team over Thailand in the final round 2 of the SEA V.League as an unforgettable milestone in her career.

She said that not participating in the world tournament did not stem from a lack of desire or motivation to compete, but was mainly related to new requirements from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) regarding the competition conditions of athletes.

According to Bich Tuyen, the new regulations are not really transparent, lack fairness and can affect the rights of athletes. For her, sports are not only about competition but also must put respect and equality first.

"I want to protect my integrity as well as avoid unnecessary risks for the team. This is a difficult decision, but it was carefully considered and received respect from the coaching board and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation," Bich Tuyen emphasized.

Despite her absence, the female striker affirmed that she will continue to practice and maintain her form to be ready to return in the future. At the same time, she expressed her belief that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will compete with all their might and continue to bring home new successes at this world tournament.

"Thank you everyone. I hope that fans will continue to support my teammates on the road ahead," Bich Tuyen concluded.

Due to Bich Tuyen's sudden withdrawal, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will not be able to add more personnel at the 2025 World Championship.
