Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam and the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family. Mr. Nguyen Van Long - who was captured and imprisoned by the enemy, currently living on Dong Tam Street and the family of war invalid Nguyen Thanh Hoang, currently living on Phan Dinh Phung Street, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat.
Mr. Nguyen Van Long is 99 years old this year. He participated in revolutionary activities in the Nam Thien Da Lat area and was captured and imprisoned by the enemy. He was awarded the First Class Resistance Medal, the Third Class Resistance Medal, and the Commemorative Medal for Revolutionary Soldiers Captured and Imprisoned by the Enemy.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang is 73 years old this year, 21% disabled, 21-40% chemically contaminated. Previously, he was a technical reconnaissance officer of Group 21, Regional General Staff (now Radio Technical Reconnaissance Group, Military Intelligence Department, General Staff, Military Region 7). He was awarded the title Hero of the People's Armed Forces, the First and Second Class Medal of Glorious Soldier.
At the places visited, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam kindly inquired about the health and living conditions of policy families. At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, martyrs, and those who rendered meritorious services to the revolution for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam affirmed that over the years, the Party and State, local Party committees and authorities have always paid attention to and well implemented the good morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation. In particular, on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the province organized delegations to visit and present gifts to policy families throughout the province.
Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam hopes that wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families of policy beneficiaries continue to promote revolutionary traditions, take the lead in implementing the Party and State's policies and guidelines, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, and always be a shining example for future generations to learn from and follow.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations to continue to care for the lives of policy families and meritorious people in the area with specific and practical actions, well implementing the nation's ethics of "remembering the source of water when drinking" and "repaying gratitude".
On this occasion, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat also sent gratitude gifts to policy families.
Touched by the attention of provincial and local leaders, war invalids and families of beneficiaries expressed their sincere thanks and affirmed that they will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, setting a shining example for their children and the community to follow.
