On the morning of June 9, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to commend individuals who told stories under the flag about studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style at the advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee.
The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has awarded 48 individuals who participated in storytelling under the flag over the past year. Of these, there were 37 Movement prizes, 6 Encouragement prizes, 3 Third prizes, 1 Second prize and 1 First prize.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong (Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee) won first prize with her story "Uncle Ho with female delegates of ethnic groups in Viet Bac".
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen said that the city has come a long way in implementing the spirit of studying and following Uncle Ho's moral example. The storytelling under the flag about studying and following Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style at the advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee has been carried out since 2021.
According to the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, through a survey by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee, over 80% of the surveyed people said that the construction of the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space has gradually permeated the lives of the city's people. People are aware that Uncle Ho's example of diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality; patriotism, love for the people; tolerance... is very practical for life.
Secretary Nguyen Van Nen expressed his thanks to the individuals who participated in telling stories under the flag. At the same time, he believed that after each story told, it would contain and leave in the listeners many emotions, many values, many different feelings. The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee hopes that the agencies advising and assisting the City Party Committee will continue to maintain this story telling under the flag.
For individuals participating in storytelling, Secretary Nguyen Van Nen believes that after researching and learning, stories about Uncle Ho will be a provision for individuals on the path of contributing to, building and protecting the Fatherland.
