Nghe An Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy appointed Deputy Head of Central Economic Commission

(Dan Tri) - Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy was mobilized and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.

On the afternoon of October 26, the Central Economic Commission held a conference to announce and present the Politburo's decision on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Mr. Thai Thanh Quy, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.

At the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung said that Mr. Quy's transfer and appointment to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee demonstrated the Politburo 's trust in Mr. Quy personally.

He suggested that the new Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission quickly approach the work, together with the collective leadership of the Central Economic Commission, perform well the function of advising and assisting the Central Executive Committee, directly and regularly the Politburo and the Secretariat in orienting the building and perfecting of economic institutions, planning major and important policies and measures of the Party on the country's socio-economy.

He also requested that the leaders of the Central Economic Commission in the coming time continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoints, policies and guidelines, especially the direction of the Politburo and the guiding ideology of General Secretary To Lam in socio-economic development, bringing our country into a new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.

Speaking on accepting the assignment, Mr. Quy said he would make every effort to complete the assigned tasks, upholding his sense of responsibility to quickly approach the assigned work.

At the same time, he also expressed that he will continue to study, cultivate, practice and improve his working capacity, together with the leadership and staff of the Central Economic Committee to promote tradition and strive to fulfill the assigned tasks to the best of his ability.
