Implementing the 2024 investment promotion program, Long An province will organize a working delegation led by Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Duoc to participate in trade and investment promotion activities in France, Belgium and Germany from November 11 to November 21, at the invitation of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
Long An focuses on attracting investment projects related to green transformation and high technology.

According to the program, the delegation will attend events organized by VCCI in coordination with diplomatic agencies and chambers of commerce in these potential markets, including the Vietnam - France Trade and Investment Forum in Paris, the Long An Business Roundtable in Cologne, and a working program with the Vietnam - Belgium Alliance.
In addition, the Delegation will also meet and work bilaterally with leaders and leading corporations in the fields of transportation, energy, and industry in France, Belgium, and Germany.
During the working trip, members of the delegation will participate in the Vietnam Capital Dialogue program in Frankfurt, aiming to connect financial investment and attract green transformation projects to Vietnam, while exchanging experiences and creating opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to access international resources.
This working trip is an important step in the 2024 Investment Promotion Program of Long An province, contributing to expanding the province's international relations with partners in Europe, promoting economic cooperation and attracting investment in green transformation projects, while contributing to foreign direct investment (FDI) flows into the province.
This is also a good opportunity for Long An enterprises to learn from experience and expand bilateral economic cooperation with European partners.
Currently, Long An has received about 1,367 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over 12.5 billion USD. Of which, 15 European countries and territories are investing in Long An with 72 projects with a total investment capital of about 1 billion USD.
