Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long highly appreciated the positive, dynamic and comprehensive development of Vietnam-Russia relations in recent times; affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam always attach importance to and wish to promote the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries to develop substantially and effectively, meeting the aspirations and development needs of both countries.
Acknowledging the positive results of joint ventures between the two countries such as Vietsovpetro in Vietnam and Rusvietpetro in Russia, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long suggested that both sides improve efficiency and effectiveness, and expand oil and gas exploration and exploitation activities in the two countries' territories.

Vietnam welcomes and is ready to create favorable conditions for Russian businesses to participate and expand investment in traditional fields such as energy, oil and gas, industry and expand to new areas of cooperation such as information technology, digital technology , AI, clean energy, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and biomedicine, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long stated.
The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Vietnamese Government, ministries, branches and agencies will make efforts and wholeheartedly work with the Russian Government, ministries, branches and agencies to effectively implement signed documents and agreements reached between the two countries' senior leaders, and develop plans and roadmaps to implement the Joint Statement on major orientations to promote Vietnam-Russia relations in the new cooperation period, approved by General Secretary To Lam and President Putin in May 2025.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long suggested that Russian enterprises actively discuss with Vietnamese partners to implement agreements and deploy projects and investment and cooperation contracts in accordance with the interests and laws of the two countries.
In the spirit of political trust and friendship between the two countries, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Russian enterprises transfer technology, provide initial support and help Vietnamese partners train staff to master technology and production.
