On the afternoon of December 5, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoa Xuan Commune (Buon Ma Thuot City) to organize the Closing Ceremony of the Traditional Brocade Weaving Instruction and Teaching Class of the Ede People in Drai Hling Village, Hoa Xuan Commune, Buon Ma Thuot City (Teaching Class).

The class has 15 students, who are members of the Traditional Brocade Weaving Club of the Ede people in Drai Hling village. For more than a month, the students have been taught by the artisans with enthusiasm and responsibility. The students have a sense of learning, absorb quickly and are self-motivated. Up to now, all students can weave and sew basically, some excellent students can creatively produce handbags and fashionable clothes, suitable for customers' tastes.

Through the training class, we have contributed to preserving and developing the traditional weaving profession, creating jobs and increasing income for women; at the same time, preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Ede ethnic group, enriching the products serving local tourism .

It is known that the teaching class belongs to the Project "Preserving and promoting the good traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030.

At the Closing Ceremony, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded certificates to 15 students who completed the course and presented Certificates of Merit to 6 students with outstanding achievements.
