Temporarily detain the subject who crashed his car into the traffic police in Lam Dong

On August 20, the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Province Police issued an order to temporarily detain Tran Dai Phong to investigate the act of murder.

Previously, on the morning of August 11, on National Highway 1A (through Lien Huong commune, Lam Dong province), the working group of Traffic Police Team No. 2 led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Trung discovered Tran Dai Phong (born in 2008, residing in Quang Tri province) driving a motorbike with license plate 86B4-143.86 carrying a passenger behind at a speed exceeding the prescribed speed limit.

When the Task Force signaled the vehicle to stop, the driver did not comply and crashed straight into Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Trung. Comrade Trung was taken to the Tuy Phong Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment and was diagnosed with a broken leg, then transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic and Trauma Hospital for treatment.

Immediately after receiving the information, Colonel Nguyen Tuong Vu, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police, went to the hospital to visit, share and encourage comrade Trung. At the same time, he praised his bravery and determination in fighting against law violations, contributing to ensuring traffic order and safety.

Currently, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Trung has been discharged from the hospital and continues to be monitored and treated at home.
