Quickly arrest technology car driver who stole tourist's phone

On the evening of December 17, Ngu Hanh Son District Police ( Da Nang City) said they had recovered the phone and returned it to the Korean female tourist.

Previously, at 12 noon the same day, Ngu Hanh Son District Police (Da Nang City) received a report from Ms. KTH (57 years old, Korean nationality) about someone else stealing her mobile phone worth more than 20 million VND.

According to the report, Ms. KTH is a tourist coming to Da Nang city for tourism , temporarily staying at an apartment in the Da Nang beach area (Vo Nguyen Giap street, Khue My ward, Ngu Hanh Son district).

Female tourist gets her phone back

At noon that same day, Ms. KTH contacted the technology car driver to get around, but left her phone in the car.

The female tourist contacted the driver but was not returned her phone.

After receiving the report, Ngu Hanh Son District Police conducted an investigation and identified the driver as TVL (36 years old, residing in Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City).

The TVL driver was the one who drove the car and took the female tourist’s phone. Ngu Hanh Son District Police have recovered the phone from the driver and returned it to Ms. KTH. They have also detained the driver to continue to consolidate the case file.
