Arrest of a group of people who forged 300 types of documents and diplomas each month

On November 29, Thu Duc City Police arrested Nguyen Toan Trung, Nguyen Manh Liem, Vu Anh Nghiep and Vo Dinh Phung to investigate the acts of forging seals and documents of agencies and organizations and using fake seals and documents of agencies and organizations.

Authorities determined that this group specialized in forging master's degrees, university degrees, citizen identification cards, driver's licenses, etc. One time, a member of this group was delivering fake documents to a customer when the police raided and caught him red-handed.

Expanding the investigation, the police seized nearly 300 types of fake documents. In addition, many machines and equipment used as evidence in the case were seized by the police.

The fake diplomas and certificates are sold for between 1.5 million VND and 2.5 million VND depending on the type. On average, this group sells about 300 different types each month.
