Tay Ho District Police ( Hanoi ) has just arrested Tran Duy Quang (born in 2003, residing in Nhu Thanh District, Thanh Hoa Province) to investigate the act of intentionally causing injury leading to death.

On the evening of March 6, Hanoi City Police announced the above information. This is the latest development when previously a taxi driver was attacked by a person who blocked the front of his car, causing injuries, and was then taken to the emergency room but died.

According to the investigation, at around 10 p.m. on March 4, Tay Ho District Police received a report from the family of Mr. LXT (born in 1980, a taxi driver, residing in Long Bien District, Hanoi) about Mr. T. being beaten and injured by an unknown subject in the West Lake Flower Valley area, Nhat Tan Ward, Tay Ho District.

After returning home, Mr. LXT showed signs of weakness and was taken to the hospital by his family for emergency care.

Upon receiving the information, Tay Ho District Police conducted investigation measures to clarify the case. Using professional measures, on the night of March 5, the forces identified, summoned and brought Tran Duy Quang from Thanh Hoa to Tay Ho District Police to fight and clarify the act of causing injury to Mr. LXT.

Based on collected documents and evidence, the police determined: At around 4:00 p.m. on March 4, in the West Lake embankment area, Nhat Tan ward, Mr. LXT was driving a taxi and collided with a motorbike driven by Quang, carrying his girlfriend behind, causing Quang's motorbike to wobble.

After that, an argument broke out between Mr. T. and Quang. Mr. T. opened the trunk of the car, took out an object about 40cm long, and chased Quang. Quang raised his hand to block it and punched Mr. T. straight in the face, then took his helmet and hit Mr. T. on the head. When people intervened, both sides got in the car and left.

After that, T. went home to rest. At 8:30 p.m. the same day, seeing that LXT's health had deteriorated, his family took him to the emergency room, but T. died at the hospital on the afternoon of March 5.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ho District Police has issued a decision to prosecute the criminal case and issued an arrest warrant for Tran Duy Quang for the act of "Intentionally causing injury leading to death".
