Bao Lam supports planting 16 hectares of new Thien Truong grafted coffee

With a total budget of nearly 373.3 million VND, Bao Lam district will support farmers in 2025 with 17,776 Thien Truong grafted coffee seedlings to convert over 16 hectares of old, low-yielding, and low-quality coffee trees in the area. Priority will be given to poor households, near-poor households, and ethnic minority households, with a maximum investment area of no more than 1 hectare/household.

The standards for Thien Truong grafted coffee seedlings produced from nurseries are announced by the Lam Dong Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection. Specifically, the rootstock tree must be 6 - 8 months old with 6 - 7 pairs of leaves; the rootstock diameter must be more than 3 mm; the grafted shoot height must be more than 10 cm; the tree must be trained in sunlight for 10 - 15 days; the grafting time must be at least 40 - 45 days before leaving the nursery...
