Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summarizes the first 6 months of 2025

On the morning of June 30, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry held a conference to review the first 6 months of 2025, and to discuss directions and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

The conference was attended by Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , representatives of relevant units, Party Committee staff and specialized staff of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry.

At the Conference, delegates agreed and highly appreciated the propaganda and mass mobilization work in the first 6 months of 2025. Despite the large workload and small number of specialized staff, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department has done a good job of propagating, disseminating and implementing the resolutions and directives of the Central Committee, especially the "Quadruple Resolutions" 57, 59, 66, 68-NQ/TW; propagating and celebrating major national holidays such as the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, and national reunification. Implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Central Committee on continuing to innovate and streamline the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.

In particular, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the functions, tasks and personnel (146 positions) of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, consolidated, merged and streamlined 16/40 Department/Agency level units; reorganized 2 General Department level units into Department level units, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Central Government.

The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has done a good job of political and ideological work for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the process of arranging and streamlining the organizational apparatus, preventing ideological problems from arising, building a united, clean, and strong Party organization; coordinating with relevant units to promptly disseminate, implement, or recommend competent authorities to issue legal documents on regimes and policies for civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Ministry.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang assessed that the propaganda and mass mobilization work in the first 6 months of 2025 had been comprehensively implemented, achieving many positive results, contributing to the work of advising on Party building in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics; thoroughly grasping and implementing the preliminary and final summaries of the Party's resolutions, directives, and conclusions to ensure timeliness and practicality.

The work of grasping and reflecting public opinion of cadres, party members and workers was promptly implemented; the work of refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints and foreign information was maintained in a systematic manner; the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style continued to be widely spread in all party organizations both at home and abroad.

The Deputy Minister requested the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to absorb and supplement the comments contributed at the Conference to complete the preliminary report, and at the same time closely follow the 2025 Work Program of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry to well perform the tasks in the last 6 months of the year; continue to do a good job of ideological work and political education for Party members in the Party Committee; effectively implement the organization and propaganda activities of the Congress of Delegates of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the term 2025 - 2030, towards the 1st Congress of the Government Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party; attentively serve the foreign affairs activities of the Party and State leaders; focus on implementing the contents of work related to propaganda work on the occasion of the celebration of major holidays in the last 6 months of 2025 and activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic sector.
