Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board disburses nearly 36% of public investment capital in 2025

Many projects invested by Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board are speeding up progress.

According to the report of the Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board, Tay Ninh province, as of July 24, 2025, the unit was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to be the investor for 76 projects under the 2025 public investment plan, with a total allocated capital (excluding extended capital) of more than VND 5,701.6 billion. Currently, the disbursement value of the projects has reached more than VND 2,032.8 billion, equivalent to 35.65% of the annual capital plan.

Of the total 76 projects, 29 are in the transport sector, including 11 newly started projects and 17 projects in transition or completed settlement. This is a group of projects that play an important role in developing transport infrastructure, serving regional connectivity, urban-rural linkages and creating conditions to attract investment.

The agricultural sector has 12 ongoing projects, all of which are carried over from previous years. These projects mainly focus on improving and upgrading irrigation systems, embankments, and canals serving agricultural production, contributing to ensuring water security and adapting to climate change.

For the group of civil – industrial – technical infrastructure construction projects, there are currently 35 projects being implemented, of which 11 projects have just started construction and 21 are in transition. These are investment projects for the fields of health, education, culture – society, headquarters of state management agencies, etc.

Although the disbursement result of over 35% is a positive level, to complete the target of disbursing public investment capital in 2025 as directed by the Government and the Provincial People's Committee, the Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board identified challenges. In particular, there are still obstacles in compensation and site clearance.

Currently, the Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board, Tay Ninh province, is assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to be the investor for 76 projects under the 2025 public investment plan.

In the coming time, the Project Management Board will continue to coordinate with departments, branches and localities to review each specific project, focusing on removing bottlenecks, especially in projects with low disbursement rates, to speed up implementation and disbursement progress.

At the same time, the unit also focuses on urging construction contractors to closely follow the committed progress, ensuring construction quality and safety during implementation.

Promoting public investment disbursement is considered a key task contributing to economic recovery, job creation, improving infrastructure quality and improving people's lives. With high political determination and close direction from the Provincial People's Committee, it is expected that the public investment disbursement plan will be successfully completed in 2025./.
