This is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and towards the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Defense Intelligence Traditional Day.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Minh Thanh, Deputy Director of Department 12 - General Department 2, said that the donation of comrades' houses is not only a practical activity to care for the lives of officers and soldiers, but also concretizes the Party's viewpoint and policy on "Repaying gratitude" activities for soldiers in difficult circumstances in the unit.
Accordingly, the house was built with funds from the Fund for the Poor of General Department 2, with a total value of 60 million VND. Although the financial support was not large, the project still ensured aesthetic quality and conformed to planning. During the construction process, the unit closely supervised, preventing any loss or waste, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and close solidarity between the military and the locality.

Lieutenant Colonel Vu Quang Duong is a soldier with many years of dedication to the Vietnam People's Army. During his work, he always overcame difficulties, tried hard to train and completed all assigned tasks well. However, his family's living conditions were still lacking, especially in terms of housing. The completion and use of the comrade house this time has helped Vu Quang Duong's family have a stable place to live, work with peace of mind and continue to contribute to the cause of protecting the Fatherland.
Speaking at the house handover ceremony, comrade Vu Quang Duong expressed that the house today is a long-standing dream and a great source of encouragement for my family. Living in a cozy house, filled with comradely love and solidarity is a joy that cannot be fully expressed in words. I vow to continue to try to live well, study and work well to be worthy of this attention.
