The conference was chaired by comrades: Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Luu Van Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

At the conference, delegates basically agreed with the Project to merge the Party Committees of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan , and Dak Nong provinces and the draft documents submitted to the Congress of Delegates of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

However, opinions suggest that the draft political report needs to specify the breakthroughs and development strategies of the new Lam Dong province.

Regarding key tasks and main solutions, opinions proposed focusing on restructuring economic sectors, developing industry towards deep processing, clean energy, agriculture towards high-tech application, and effectively exploiting tourism potential.

To promote strengths, some opinions suggest that there should be flexible mechanisms and policies and prioritize investment in infrastructure, especially transportation infrastructure.

In order for officials, civil servants and public employees of Dak Nong and Binh Thuan provinces to feel secure in working in the new Lam Dong province, some opinions suggest that it is necessary to soon issue support policies on accommodation and travel conditions. In the long term, it is necessary to consider issuing support policies on land for early "settling down and working".

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, emphasized that the projects and draft documents submitted to the congress are extremely important, therefore, they need to be studied deeply and thoroughly and comments should be contributed accurately and realistically.

Regarding the work of reorganizing the apparatus, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that before operating the 2-level local government model, departments, branches and localities need to urgently complete unfinished tasks and work, especially the work of reviewing, inventorying, managing and using public finance and assets.
Departments, branches, sectors and localities must urgently, resolutely and responsibly reorganize administrative units and perfect the organizational apparatus in accordance with the requirements and roadmap of the Central Government. This is an important political task, and the common interest must be put first.
Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh noted that the Central Government currently requires shortening the time for arranging administrative units (provincial and communal levels) to be completed before June 30. This is a huge pressure, requiring each level, each sector, each cadre to "run and queue", working day and night to complete the remaining workload.

The arrangement and assignment of staff to work in the new Lam Dong province and in the old units must be carried out clearly, specifically determining the number of staff transferred and the number of staff staying to ensure the implementation of professional tasks effectively, smoothly and without interruption.
Regarding the arrangement and assignment of new commune-level cadres, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that it be done in a fair and objective manner. Cadres must have high qualifications, capacity, qualities, ethics, responsibility, and know how to apply science, technology, and digital transformation...
In the current transition period, departments, branches, units and localities must make more efforts in their work, not be negligent, subjective, lose vigilance, not be passive or surprised in any situation; thoroughly resolve citizens' petitions, complaints and recommendations...
