Asian Cup 2027: Vietnam team accelerates before decisive match with Malaysia

Before the training session, midfielder Chau Ngoc Quang shared with the press about the team's preparations, especially emphasizing the need to be cautious with Malaysia's quality naturalized players. Chau Ngoc Quang said: "Coach Kim Sang Sik has analyzed them very carefully. They are players with outstanding physical strength and good technique. The whole team has been thoroughly prepared to be ready to respond."

The midfielder born in 1996 also said that the whole team had carefully studied the opponent's playing style through videotapes of recent matches. He shared: "Coach Kim and the tactical experts helped us clearly identify Malaysia's strengths and weaknesses. Each player has his own task in the tactical diagram. However, I would like to not reveal the specific exercises."

Evaluating the new player Cao Pendant Quang Vinh, Ngoc Quang gave praise: "Vinh integrated very quickly, both in daily life and in professional skills. The coaching staff also created conditions for Vinh and I to compete together to increase our understanding on the field."

Regarding the prospect of playing under the pressure of the 80,000-seat stands of Bukit Jalil Stadium, Ngoc Quang appeared calm: "There will definitely be pressure, but if we can stay focused, we will not be affected much by the noise from the audience.
