Apple Intelligence supports Vietnamese from 2025, for users in Vietnam

Apple first introduced Apple Intelligence at the WWDC 2024 event on June 10. Considered a "new chapter of Apple", this feature set is capable of automating and optimizing the user experience on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

With Apple Intelligence, users can perform complex tasks like identifying important notifications and messages, summarizing email content, rewriting paragraphs, or even removing objects in photos with just a few simple steps.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has not hesitated to call this a major change in the way people use the company's products. However, many experts believe that Apple is somewhat behind other competitors in the field of AI. However, supporting many new languages, including Vietnamese, from next year promises to bring a significant competitive advantage to Apple.

The first beta version of Apple Intelligence is scheduled to be available next month, via iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 updates. However, the initial phase will only support US English. By December, Apple will expand support to English variants from other countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK.

Apple has confirmed that devices that can use Apple Intelligence will include its latest product lines. Specifically, this list includes:

iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max

iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max

iPad and Mac with M1 chip or later
