At the same time, coordinate the inspection and suspension of operations of ports, wharves, and watercraft that do not ensure safety conditions, especially ships and boats carrying passengers to the island or traveling around the island.
An Giang Provincial Police have increased patrols and controls on key routes and areas at high risk of accidents; strictly handled traffic safety violations, prevented illegal racing, and disturbed public order.
The Provincial Border Guard Command absolutely does not allow any means of transport, including fishing boats, to go out to sea if they do not meet safety conditions. At the same time, coordinate to notify boats to take shelter from storms and be ready to respond in case of emergency.
Kien Giang Maritime Port Authority does not grant departure permits to ships that do not meet safety conditions; reminds people to load and unload goods in accordance with regulations, ensuring safe and smooth maritime traffic.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinates to guide fishermen to comply with regulations on safety signals when fishing, especially at night; promptly warn of bad weather so that fishing boats can enter safe shelters.
The Department of Culture and Sports does not license billboards and banners that obstruct visibility or affect traffic safety. Granted locations must be reviewed and adjusted if problems arise.
Chairmen of People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones shall intensify propaganda on local radio to warn of the risk of accidents during the rainy and stormy season; organize tree trimming, clear stagnant water points, prevent traffic flooding; strictly control and handle wharves, ferries and passenger vehicles that do not ensure safety conditions.
An Giang Provincial Newspaper and Radio - Television shall promote the dissemination of traffic laws; warn of risks and potential traffic accident situations for prevention; promptly commend and reward organizations and individuals who do well and criticize and strictly handle violations.
