Her house is nearly 50 km from the Ea Sup High School exam site. When she learned that her daughter was supported with food and accommodation near the exam site thanks to the "Exam Support" program, Ms. Pham Thi Huyen (village 1, Ia Rve commune, Ea Sup district) felt like a burden had been lifted.
Ms. Huyen’s family is poor, living mainly on farming, renting land to grow cassava all year round, but in recent years they have been continuously losing money. In that difficult time, her eldest daughter carries with her the dream of wearing a white blouse, wishing to pass the entrance exam to the Military Medical Academy. “If my daughter wants to, I will try my best, just hoping that she will pass the exam, study well, and have a less miserable life than her parents,” Ms. Huyen confided.

Mr. Vo Trong Loi, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ea Sup High School, said that in this year's exam, the "Supporting Exam Season" team of Ea Sup district consisted of more than 100 volunteers. The teams were trained, assigned tasks, and participated in supporting candidates and their parents. Before the exam, the volunteers cleaned the rooms, cleaned the entrances to the exam sites, and the candidates' accommodation. Up to now, the program has supported accommodation for 25 candidates in need and some parents living with them. At the same time, it called for sponsorship for 440 free meals, thousands of bottles of water, and school supplies for candidates.

Along with the presence of the "Exam Support Team", many units and philanthropists in Ea Sup district also stand up to support candidates every exam season. For example, the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan (Ea Sup town), for the past 3 years, her family has spent money and effort to cook and give hundreds of free meals to candidates taking the High School Graduation Exam. She said that this year, students only take the exam for 1.5 days, so she spends about 150-170 meals (a diverse menu including: grilled ribs, fried minced meat, stir-fried bamboo shoots, spinach soup, with peach jelly tea) to support students living far away, students in difficult circumstances as a spiritual encouragement for them to complete the exam well.

Leaving the exam room, being "recharged" with warm meals and bottles of cold water filled with affection from the people, philanthropists and young volunteers, the candidates in Ea Sup district could not help but be moved. Nguyen Hoai Thu (grade 12 student, Ea Rok High School, Ea Rok commune) expressed that this was a very valuable support, helping her and the candidates living far from school to have a comfortable mentality and spirit to participate in the exam effectively.

In addition to the sharing and support of the community, the encouragement of relatives is an important spiritual support for candidates. At all the examination sites, many parents sat on duty, waiting for hours for their children.
Anxiously waiting for her child at the Ea Sup High School exam site, Ms. Ngan Thi Minh (village 21, Ea Rok commune) shared: “I took my child to the exam early in the morning so that she had time to eat breakfast and calm down before the exam. This is an important exam, so despite my busy work schedule, I chose to stay and wait for my child, encouraging her spirit after each exam session.” Or Ms. Pham Thi Huyen, although her house is far away, her daughter was supported with accommodation during the exam days, but she still chose to accompany her child throughout the exam season, so that her child could be more confident on this important journey.

In the midst of many difficulties in the countryside, mothers like Mrs. Minh, Mrs. Huyen, or valuable support from the community have given strength to the candidates in the border area to enter the exam with a calm, steady mindset and full faith in the future.
