Warming 'Zero-dong porridge kitchen' for poor patients

Established in 2019, Hanoi Charity is one of the most active charitable organizations (in many provinces and cities across the country) with community support projects, helping the unfortunate and disadvantaged.

"Zero-dong porridge kitchen" is a volunteer project of the group that is regularly and continuously implemented every Saturday at the location in front of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (No. 5 Pham Van Bach, Yen Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi ). Regardless of sunny or rainy weather, cold or hot, the team's "Zero-dong porridge kitchen" always lights up the flame of love for poor patients and their families in the hospital...

"Zero-dong porridge kitchen" doesn't just have porridge.

At each charity meal distribution session, patients and their families also receive tea, milk, fruit, etc. along with necessities from benefactors.

Mr. Tran Nam Long, born in 1982, is the initiator and founder of the Hanoi Charity Team. Sharing with me what the "Zero-dong Porridge Kitchen" has done, he said: "Looking at the bright smiles of the uncles, aunts, relatives of the patients and the children when receiving meals, we feel the happiness spreading through each look, each sincere word of thanks. Hearing the familiar saying: 'The porridge and sweet soup are delicious, children. Thank you!' makes us feel warm...".

He added that the group's achievements in helping people and life today are also the result of the enthusiastic contributions of philanthropists and the cooperation of the whole group. The "0 Dong Porridge Kitchen" of Hanoi Charity believes that giving is forever, the love sent will be the seeds that sow the seeds for a more compassionate and connected community.

Every Saturday afternoon, people line up to receive loving porridge from the Hanoi Charity group.

Everyone was warm, happy and moved by the gesture of the group of young people.

Not only porridge, the charity event also supports patients with tea, fruit, fresh milk... Each meal contains the love of kind hearts.

The charity event also attracted many students to participate.

The porridge is carefully packaged, delicious, and ensures food hygiene and safety.
