ABBANK and BTTEVN Fund officially join hands for the cause of caring for, protecting and developing children

ABBANK and the Vietnam Children's Fund (VCF) have just signed a sponsorship agreement for 2024 to join hands for the development and protection of Vietnamese children.

According to the plan, ABBANK will support the cost and cooperate with BTTEVN Fund to build a boarding house and sanitation facilities at Nong Hoi Duoi School, belonging to Chieng An Primary and Secondary School, Muong La District, Son La Province. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2025, aiming to bring a better learning environment for students in the highlands.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Pham Duy Hieu, Acting General Director of ABBANK, emphasized the bank's commitment to creating sustainable values for the community. Mr. Dinh Tien Hai, Director of BTTEVN Fund, assessed this as a sustainable companionship, not only sponsorship but also a meaningful cooperation, bringing long-term benefits to the community. The cooperation between the two organizations promises to effectively support children in difficult circumstances, especially in remote and deprived areas.

ABBANK and BTTEVN Fund signed a sponsorship agreement for 2024, marking the beginning of a journey of joining hands for the cause of caring for, protecting and developing children.

ABBANK, with the vision of being a friendly retail bank, not only focuses on business development but also prioritizes social security activities in the fields of health,education and environmental protection. In the field of health, ABBANK sponsors many health care activities for children, renovates playgrounds in hospitals and donates medical equipment. In education, the bank supports the construction of facilities and grants scholarships to disadvantaged children. ABBANK also makes efforts in environmental protection with the project “Green An Binh – Green Vietnam,” planting hundreds of thousands of trees across the country to mitigate climate change.

BTTEVN Fund, established in 1992, acts as a bridge between philanthropists and children in need across Vietnam. To date, the fund has raised over VND7,900 billion, supporting over 35 million disadvantaged children nationwide.
