DNO - On August 16, in Da Nang, Emulation Cluster No. 5 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, including the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment of 7 provinces and cities in the South Central Coast region (Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan ) organized a conference to review the emulation of the cluster and discuss difficulties of the natural resources and environment sector, launching a contest to learn about the 2024 Land Law.

Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang City Pham Nam Son said that in recent years, the activities of Emulation Cluster No. 5 have always had many innovations with diverse forms and activities, including exchanging experiences in environmental resource management, organizing sports activities, art performances, meetings and exchanges...
In 2024, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment launched an emulation movement for the entire natural resources and environment sector with the theme "Discipline, responsibility, proactiveness, and innovation", aiming to enhance the advisory role, improve management work, and promote natural resources for socio-economic development of localities in the new period.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang City is the unit designated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment as the Head of Emulation Cluster No. 5 and is the unit hosting the cluster's professional discussion program to objectively assess the achieved results, the highlights as well as the limitations and shortcomings of the industry; discuss difficulties and obstacles in management practices, solve work, identify challenges of the natural resources and environment sector to have fundamental solutions... to solve pressing issues related to the lives of people and businesses, create a favorable environment for production and business activities; propose solutions to continue to innovate, improve the effectiveness and efficiency in direction and coordination between localities...

In the coming time, Emulation Cluster No. 5 will continue to have many innovations with diverse forms of activities, contributing to enhancing mutual understanding, tightening solidarity and exchanging experiences in the field of State management of natural resources and environment among units.
With the theme "Discipline, responsibility, proactiveness, and accelerated innovation", the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment of the provinces and cities in the South Central Coast continue to focus on perfecting and synchronously developing policies and laws on natural resources and environmental management to mobilize and effectively use natural resources to serve economic and social development, protect the living environment, proactively adapt to climate change, and develop sustainably.
Along with that, building and improving the quality of staff, civil servants, public employees and workers according to the job position project, combined with tightening discipline and administrative discipline to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the agencies and units.
At the same time, continue to promote administrative reform, focusing on administrative procedure reform; effectively implement the contents and tasks of building and developing e-government towards digital government in the natural resources and environment sector.
In addition, deploy and organize the implementation of assigned projects, tasks and works to ensure quality and progress; continue to improve the operational efficiency and performance of functions and tasks of agencies and units, contributing to the successful completion of the political tasks of the natural resources and environment sector.
At the conference, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of provinces and cities exchanged and discussed new points of the 2024 Land Law related to compensation, site clearance and some difficulties and problems when implementing the 2024 Land Law; some highlights of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 on the organization of urban government and piloting some specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city; mineral exploitation management...
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang City launched a contest to learn about the 2024 Land Law to disseminate and raise awareness among cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in 7 provinces and cities in the South Central Coast region about new regulations in land management, use, and protection, creating positive changes and bringing State management of land into order and in accordance with the law.
