Recently, the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ) continued to be honored as the No. 1 enterprise in the Top prestigious information technology - telecommunications (IT-VT) companies in 2023.

For 6 consecutive years, Viettel is the most prestigious IT-Telecom company in Vietnam.

This is the result of independent research and evaluation by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company, based on international standards of Fortune 500, periodically published annually since 2018. Since the report was released, Viettel has continuously led the Ranking for 6 consecutive years.

The rankings are evaluated objectively, according to criteria on corporate financial capacity such as business performance reports, corporate equity; evaluating corporate reputation in the media using the Media Coding method through encoding articles about technology companies published on influential newspapers in Vietnam; surveying research subjects and stakeholders conducted from January to June 2023.

For 6 consecutive years, Viettel is the most prestigious IT-Telecom company in Vietnam.

In the first half of this year, Viettel was the enterprise that contributed the most to the growth of the information and communications industry with revenue of VND81,000 billion, profit of VND24,100 billion, and budget contribution of VND21,600 billion. Viettel continued to maintain its No. 1 position in terms of mobile subscriber market share (53.8%). At the same time, Viettel actively followed the roadmap to turn off 2G waves in Vietnam, increasing the ratio of 4G subscribers to total subscribers to 78% and testing 5G services in 55 provinces and cities. Viettel's foreign telecommunications services also achieved a growth rate of over 20%, of which 5 markets continued to maintain the No. 1 position: Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, East Timor, and Burundi.

In 2023, Viettel sent the message “Technology with heart” to the public with the desire to use technology to solve problems, challenges, and issues of society, bringing a better life to people. Viettel has received the trust of ministries, branches, and localities in implementing technology projects.

To date, Viettel has accompanied, consulted and implemented 19 digital transformation projects for more than 20 units under ministries and branches and nearly 40 projects of the Smart City Monitoring and Operation Center (IOC) implemented in many provinces and cities across the country. In addition, Viettel has strengthened cooperation with major technology companies in the world : Microsoft, Qualcom, Indivia... in the fields of Cloud, Data, AI... to promote digital services in Vietnam.
