In order for the practice of thrift and anti-waste to be carried out effectively and create a strong spread in society, the Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 205/QD-UBND on promulgating the Program of practicing thrift and anti-waste in 2025 of Phu Tho province. In which, 6 key areas are stipulated with many specific targets and solutions.

The program sets out a number of specific targets for each area such as: In the area of regular budget expenditure, in addition to saving 10% of regular expenditure to create a source for salary reform according to regulations, in the implementation organization, departments, branches and localities strive to save an additional 10% of regular expenditure, increasing the 2025 budget estimate compared to the 2024 budget estimate. At the same time, innovate the management mechanism and financial mechanism of public service units, reduce direct support from the State budget for public service units.
