Within the framework of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, this afternoon, October 16, at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ), the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee held the opening ceremony of the Exhibition displaying images of the great national unity bloc and the results of the Front's work for the term 2019-2024 with the theme "Promoting the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country increasingly prosperous and happy".
Attending the opening ceremony were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Party Delegation Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien and Party Central Committee members: Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization Mai Van Chinh, Vice President-General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thi Thu Ha; members of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 9th tenure, heads of delegations attending the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Huu Dung said that the Exhibition is an activity to welcome the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - an important political event of the great national unity bloc.
Over the past 94 years, under the leadership of the Party, in each revolutionary period, with different organizational forms and names, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has continuously grown and matured, making great contributions to the great revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, contributing greatly to consolidating and promoting the strength of great national unity.
With a long history, the Vietnam Fatherland Front is always proud of its mission; affirming its role and position as a political alliance organization, a voluntary union of political organizations, socio-political organizations, and typical individuals in social classes, strata, ethnic groups, religions, and Vietnamese people residing abroad.
“Proud to be founded and trained by President Ho Chi Minh and our Party, looking back on the past, we are proud of the great national unity bloc and the contributions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; proud of the Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front through the periods” - Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung affirmed.
With 385 photos (including 70 photo panels) on display, the Exhibition depicts outstanding images in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations during the 2019-2024 term and welcomes the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.
The exhibition space is designed with 3 parts: images of the Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front through the periods and Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; images of the implementation results of the Resolution of the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2019-2024; some images of the activities of member organizations of the Front.
The images at the Exhibition vividly and clearly depict the Vietnam Fatherland Front - a place to gather and promote the strength of national solidarity, a solid bridge between all classes of people in all parts of the country and overseas Vietnamese with the Party and the State. Through the displayed images, each citizen will be more proud, confident and continue to make efforts to contribute and dedicate to building and promoting the strength of national solidarity, all for the goal of "Rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization".
Immediately after the opening ceremony of the Photo Exhibition, the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, entered its first working session.
