According to Ambassador Nguyen Luong Ngoc, amid the increasingly complicated security situation, 18 Vietnamese citizens have left for a third country. Currently, there are 20 Vietnamese citizens in Iran, including embassy staff. The citizens are safe, mentally stable and in close contact with the embassy. The Vietnamese community in Iran has a total of 38 people, including embassy staff, people residing in the country and some short-term residents.
The Embassy regularly advises people to be vigilant, avoid crowded places, strictly comply with regulations and instructions to ensure security and safety of local authorities, as well as maintain close contact with the Embassy.
