The press conference on the 2024 high school graduation exam will take place at 5:00 p.m. at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Training . The event will be broadcast live on the Ministry's official fanpage.

The 2024 high school graduation exam is coming to its final minutes. Compared to 2023, the exam has not encountered any unfortunate incidents of leaked or leaked exam questions.

The number of candidates violating exam regulations decreased significantly compared to 2023. Specifically, there were 7 candidates in the literature exam (12 candidates in 2023), 3 candidates in the math exam (4 candidates in 2023), and 9 candidates in the combined exam (22 candidates in 2023).

The night before the first exam on the morning of June 27, social media reported that the literature exam questions had been leaked. The person spreading the rumor was a male 12th grade student. The Ministryof Education and Training later denied the leak. The fact that the work "Country" was guessed correctly was just "coincidental".

According to data from the Ministry of Education and Training, this year's high school graduation exam has 1,071,393 candidates registered, an increase of more than 45,000 compared to 2023. Of which, there are 46,978 independent candidates, accounting for 4.38%.

Nationwide, 2,323 exam sites were arranged, an increase of 51 sites compared to last year.

Hanoi continues to be the locality with the largest number of candidates taking the high school graduation exam with 109,078 candidates.

The next 4 positions are Ho Chi Minh City (90,062), Thanh Hoa (38,775), Nghe An (37,044) and Dong Nai (34,088).

The objectives of this year's high school graduation exam remain unchanged. The exam results serve the purpose of high school graduation, serve as a basis for university and college admissions, and assess the quality of management, teaching and learning at educational institutions.

The motto of the exam is for students, for students to take the exam, especially those in difficult circumstances, remote areas, so that no candidate can get to the exam site due to economic difficulties or transportation distance.
