Therefore, immediately after the local Party Committee, government and people urgently overcame the consequences on the spot, the commune quickly discussed and agreed on a plan to support other localities that suffered more severe damage. Particularly for Tuong Duong commune, Nga My commune has sent 160 volunteers who are members of the Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Youth Union, and Veterans' Association from 13/16 villages in the commune to support people in cleaning up mud, garbage, and fallen trees in the premises of households. At the same time, they coordinated to clear mud-filled traffic routes, helping people to soon stabilize their travel and daily activities. Important roads have also been handled. In addition to the help from Nga My commune, in recent times, Tuong Duong commune in particular and the communes affected by storm No. 3 in general have received timely and practical help from all levels, sectors, functional forces as well as neighboring localities. That support has helped the locality speed up the progress of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, stabilizing the lives of the people. It is expected that this afternoon, the delegation of officials and people of Nga My commune will continue to carry out the remaining tasks, focusing on supporting disadvantaged households and heavily affected areas that have not been able to recover on their own.
