Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung delivered the opening speech of a special art program celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day with the theme Forever a red heart - sharp pen taking place on the evening of June 20 at the Hanoi Opera House.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that over the past 100 years, from the first newspaper named Thanh Nien , founded and led by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has matured, always accompanying the nation and country, becoming a core and pioneering force on the ideological and cultural front, making outstanding contributions to every development journey of the country's revolution.

Along with that, Journalism I Love with songs like an epic about war reporters, soldier journalists who completed journalistic works to record the glorious feats of the nation and preserve the integrity of history.
The Minister said the program conveys the message: "One hundred years of journalism, not only recording history but also carving the soul of the times."

Talented artists sing to honor journalism
The program is implemented by the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater in coordination with relevant units.
The program was elaborately staged, combining music , dance, images, and historical documents, depicting the 100-year journey full of hardship but also very glorious of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.
Meritorious Artist Quynh Trang - Director of the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater - said the creative team spent a lot of time researching documents, talking with journalists, and accessing behind-the-scenes stories.
From there, build a program script that is realistic, emotional, and artistic.
The program has the participation of many artists such as People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Meritorious Artist Khanh Ngoc, Trong Tan, Dao To Loan, Viet Danh, Xuan Hao, Thu Hang, An Thu An, Duyen Quynh, Hai Anh, Phuc Dai; groups: Thoi Gian, Phuong Nam, Contemporary Dance Group and choir.
