Vintage dresses from the archives of Chanel, Balenciaga, Versace, and Dior helped stars score points throughout the Cannes seasons.

On the occasion of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival taking place from May 16 to 27 in France, Vogue reviews the most beautiful vintage designs. The magazine highly appreciated the Balmain Haute Couture mini dress worn by Angelina Jolie at the screening of A Mighty Heart in 2007.
