The Gac Ma Soldier Memorial Area is located in Cam Lam Commune, Khanh Hoa Province, and currently displays 156 documents about Hoang Sa - Truong Sa, Vietnam's seas and islands, and Gac Ma soldiers.

Of which, 31 relics of soldiers who died in the Gac Ma battle were donated by the martyrs' families. The Management Board has systematized all of them and numbered them so that people can easily visit.

In the guest book, the Prime Minister wrote: "These are examples of heroic sacrifice to protect the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland. These shining examples are always proof of heroism, adding to the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese people...".

37 years ago, on March 14, 1988, 64 soldiers of the Vietnam People's Navy laid down their lives in the deep sea to protect the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland in the East Sea. Their blood mixed with the ocean, creating an immortal monument to revolutionary heroism and love for the Fatherland's sea and islands.
