Truong Ninh Commune: Completed and put into use 299 houses for people in difficult circumstances

QTO - With the drastic participation of the entire political system, the joint efforts of the people and philanthropists, Truong Ninh commune has completed and put into use 299 houses for people in difficult circumstances in the area.

Implementing the program to eliminate temporary houses (XNT) and dilapidated houses (NDN), Truong Ninh commune has 299 households supported to build and repair houses, of which 68 households were newly built and 231 households were repaired.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Truong Ninh Commune, Tran Quang Minh, said that the program of poverty reduction and poverty alleviation is not only an important political task but also a deeply humane responsibility of the Party and Government towards poor households and households in difficult circumstances. In that spirit, the Steering Committee for poverty reduction and poverty alleviation has directed the entire political system to participate and actively implement poverty reduction and poverty alleviation for families in the area.

During the implementation process, the locality has done a good job of disseminating information to the people, coordinating to review the subjects eligible for support, the current housing status, the needs of households, promoting democracy, and following the instructions.

The construction of houses for poor households and people in difficult circumstances in Truong Ninh commune has ensured the correct standards and progress, and has been supported by the people. The total capital mobilized to build and repair houses for 299 households is estimated at over 41.3 billion VND, of which the provincial and central budgets have allocated over 14.9 billion VND; socialized sources and families have contributed over 26.4 billion VND, and at the same time, over 5,420 working days have been mobilized to support the construction and repair of houses.
