VOV gives notebooks to poor students in coastal Ca Mau

The Voice of Vietnam Mekong Delta Resident Office (VOV Mekong Delta) and sponsors presented 2,500 notebooks to students in Khanh Hai and Khanh Hung communes, Tran Van Thoi district. The notebooks were mobilized from benefactors in Ca Mau province.

Mr. Bui Trong Dien - Director of VOV Resident Office in the Mekong Delta region said that the notebooks are a simple but meaningful gift from the sponsor and the Voice of Vietnam to the children. He hopes that the children will take care of their studies; their families, teachers, Party Committees and authorities will overcome the difficult conditions in the locality and try to take care of their children so that they can study and become successful.

Mr. Dien believes that the students who come to receive notebooks today will become successful people in the future, thereby contributing to building a more beautiful homeland and country.

Mr. Pham Thanh Duoc - Chairman of Khanh Hai Commune People's Committee said that the support and assistance from the press and philanthropists shows their concern and sharing, which is also the motivation for the children to strive to overcome difficulties in their studies. The government will pay more attention to promoting the cause of educating people in the locality.
